About Theresa

Marketing & Design:

Marketing and design are my passion and hobby. I have always had an artistic streak, but have also enjoyed learning the more technical aspects of web design and marketing data analysis.

My approach to design is finding a way for form and function to work together. I am always mindful of the user experience and try to keep things as simple and fluid as possible to get the message across.

Although I specialize in digital advertising and design, I have experience ranging from web and logo design, branding, and analytics, enabling me to take a multi-faceted approach to any marketing campaign.

Racing:

I have always been an adrenaline junky, with a bit of a competitive streak. However, it wasn’t until my dad introduced me to the sport of autocross when I was 18 that I knew I had found my calling. From the smell of burnt rubber, to the exhilaration of speeding down a runway at the absolute limit, I knew I was hooked.

Unfortunately, racing had to take a backseat while I pursued a dual Physics & Music degree at McGill University. My physics background however has proved useful in better understanding vehicle dynamics and the way a car handles at the limit. I also participated in McGill’s FSAE team, which was a great way to experience the build of a race car from the ground up.

Eventually I moved up the ranks of autocross, and in 2008 I took home a National Championship in the DSPL class. In 2009, looking for a way to progress into road racing, I tried out for the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup series that had recently started. It was specifically designed for young race car drivers looking to get started in professional road racing, as well as promoting Volkswagen’s green turbo diesel technology.

Driving in the TDI Cup, alongside drivers with a diverse range of racing experience, was a great experience and one that taught me a lot that has carried through the rest of my racing career.

From 2010 – 2013, I competed in the highly competitive Spec Miata division. I competed regionally across the Northeast and earned a top finish of 2nd in my class at NJMP.

I am currently racing a 2002 Acura RSX-S that I built along with my crew chief and partner, Evan Consolazio, for racing in SCCA’s ITR division. The car debuted at the last race of the 2015 SCCA NER season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, and I earned two 2nd place finishes and one 4th place finish in my first weekend behind the wheel of the car. Not bad for its first time out! I’ll be competing full-time in the New England Road Racing Championship series for the 2016 season, and will be aiming for a class title.
